These have been long overdue...
Hello, fellow Self-Advocates. While I'm trying to slowly ease myself back into the swing of things on my blog, I've spent some time making some much needed changes to the website, and what I feel are improvements to its overall layout and navigation. Some of the major changes you may notice are as follows:
In General:
Archive section has been improved (Renamed to "Blog" in the Navigation Menu).
Featured Posts have been expanded to go beyond just 3 posts.
Removed some boring plain text in certain parts of the website with the official GSAG logo.
Added additional social media links, to include Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and Facebook (I may create more accounts if this generates enough interest in the website).
Fixed some weird glitches with the RSS feed icon, so it is now inline with all the other social media links.
It is now possible to register for a profile (if you wish). This should enable you to post comments on the blog articles, but if for whatever reason it doesn't work, please don't hesitate to let me know.
Added a "News" section (similar the Featured Posts section) to the main website near the top of the page, so you can briefly check for any significant news updates without having to access the "News" page.
Fixed an issue with the Featured Posts not being in the right section on the main page.
Mobile:
Some ugly gaps/extra spacing has been fixed throughout the website.
Fixed the Archive (Blog) section so that it's actually useable on the mobile version of the website.
Realigned certain graphics/tables/etc., that didn't translate over well from the Desktop version of the site.
I think that's pretty much it. If there is anything I missed, I'll update this post as necessary. I hope all the loyal readers of GSAG will appreciate these updates and will make their time spent on the website more enjoyable. Thank you very much for your continued interest and support!
